I fell and had a bimalleolar break of my right ankle. I had three surgeries in one month and was nonweight bearing for four months before I was allowed to start therapy. My surgeon’s office recommended Axis Pro. I was still in a wheelchair the first couple of visits and on first day I graduated to a walker, which I hated, I went to therapy and Mac, the owner who was my therapist, told me to quit using it. Yay! He is very professional and knowledgeable and I made a lot of progress each time I went. I saw people all ages and various injuries, etc. and each of the staff I observed were also very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Axis Pro to anyone requiring physical therapy.

I have been to several physical therapy sessions over the years, but from the moment I walked into Axis Pro I felt right at home. Mac, the owner and physical therapist is a very personable patient-oriented professional and the best physical therapist I have ever experienced. I was in an auto accident a year previous and was still always in a great deal of pain. After a few sessions with Mac, my pain was almost totally gone, which several doctors said would never happen. Now I am pain free for most of the day, and am able to walk the beach several miles daily without any pain. At 71 and a Brevard resident for over 40 years, and only 1.5 years of experience with health insurance, I was a bit skeptical about the kind of care I would receive. I will say that my experiences have been mostly good or very good but staying alert has proven to be important for me. My opinion of the PT Team at Axis Pro and the facilities in Melbourne is that they have been outstanding. I felt like I was participating in the Treatment Plan as it unfolded over the month of March and my condition improved. In addition, despite the large issue of Covid19 looming out there, my therapy continued without any distractions. The office managers handled my scheduling efficiently and with kindness. Finally, in the beginning, when my doctor first recommended Mac’s Axis Pro, and I saw the 21-mile round trip, which for me was significant, I hesitated.
