Colleen Martonick, MSOTR/L

Colleen Martonick graduated in 2001 from College Misericordia with a BS in Psychology and a Masters in Occupational Therapy.

Colleen began her practice in outpatient hand and upper extremity disorders as well as work hardening/conditioning. She has practiced in industrial rehab settings with focus on safety and ergonomics. She eventually became certified in functional capacity evaluations through Blankenship corporation.

In 2004, Colleen became certified in Lymphedema therapy from the Norton School of lymphatic Therapy. She opened the first private practice in rural NE Pennsylvania. During her years managing and building a variety of lymphatic programs in PA, she continued her lymphatic studies completing speciality certification in head and neck and breast cancer rehabilitation through Klose Training and Consulting. Colleen is certified in kinesiotaping and Rian Corp low level laser therapy (LLLT) for lymphatic disorders.  She is skilled in manual and myofascial technique as educated by John Barnes.

She pioneered the first preventative program  with the use of L-Dex bioimpedence spectrometry for Unilateral Breast Cancer.

Colleen’s passion is empowering each and every patient diagnosed with Lymphedema through meticulous home programs and education to effectively manage and prevent lymphatic congestion. Lymphedema can be effectively contained through education, support and outreach.
